S25 ultra Battery drain issue

I've been using my S25 Ultra for a month now, and the battery life hasn't been as impressive as advertised, even with typical usage. I don't play games or use high brightness, and I have auto optimization enabled, a 90% maximum battery charge, and most unused apps set to deep sleep. Even calls and using apps like WhatsApp, Teams, Facebook, Instagram, and X significantly drain the battery during normal use. Is this typical for the S25 Ultra?

Hello 👋 @MaverickSgr99

How do you feel about letting the battery charge to 100%

A generic troubleshooting step is

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

Battery stats is a subjective topic because we all set up our phone's differently and use different apps and different preferences and use them differently.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

Personally I get a day's use with some change leftnin the battery.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I did the clearing of cache partition. But I feel the battery drain problem is still there. Loosing 1% every 2-3 mins is norm for some reason. Take example of samsung members app, I while I was just reading and clicked the link, I lost 2 %
Is my device an issue?

Hi, @MaverickSgr99. In addition to what @BandOfBrothers has suggested, I highly recommend consulting the guide below. It contains a plethora of excellent tips that I use myself to get even better battery life from my Galaxy flagships:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/galaxy-battery/optimisation/

What I find to be particularly impactful (in the positive sense) is using the Background usage limits setting (Settings > Battery > Background usage limits), and putting barely or light-used apps into Sleep or Deep sleep.

It's also worth keeping an eye on which particular apps or processes are contributing to possible battery drain, and to ensure all of your apps are being regularly updated via the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store.

Please let us know how you get on.

How many times per day or week do you charge your phone? Is it everyday or few days?

I do put in charge for the night, as I use sleep features that requires it to be plugged in night.
