Just thought I'd share this as I'm waiting for my S25+ to be delivered on the 22nd but now not sure whether to cancel or not. I've read quite a few issues people are having. I've never seen the 8 elite chipsets with any issues on other phones. I know some will be saying to wait for an update but surely you shouldn't have to struggle with something brand new until an update arrives. I've not seen other phones with this chipset where customers are commenting on waiting for updates to fix certain issues. What you guys reckon?

The phone has a really good heat chamber. Meaning more heat on the actural phone back, instead of the components.

I've used mine and not experienced any issues personally.

Maybe wait, experience it first hand and if need be refund it before the return window closes if you experience any issues

Look at the comments of that video. Everyone is saying they've also not had issues.
Fear about new tech gets views, take it with a grain of salt.

The only time my phone has felt hot was when I first got it, charging the battery and doing updates, since then I haven't noticed any issues

Only time my phone even remotely got warm since I had it was when it was stuffed under the duvet with heated electric sheets, a very warm and cosy spot. Beyond that, no heating issues whatsoever.

You say the only phone you've seen with this chipset, customers complaining. So you're actively parading Oneplus, Xiaomi, Honor, Redmagic, Asus, Oppo, Vivo, Motorola etc and checking?

I picked up my phone yesterday and it did warm up when using Samsung Cloud to move my info across @facu1ty

I only use Samsung SmartSwitch to move my Gallery across.

Then there's all the updating and tweaking.

Now my phone is cool.

You could try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

To see if they help troubleshoot.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Wtf would you do? How else would you word this? I, like many, always watch videos of new phones, especially if I know sammy will be using the same chipsets. What do you find wrong with me mentioning I haven't seen these issues with other phones? What are you hoping to achieve by saying "actively parading"? A paying customer buying from a reputable company has every right to ask these types of questions. What's the problem?

I only use smartswitch as well. I've not got delivery yet, but I thought it's worth asking people on here before taking the plunge. We all remember how atrocious the 8gen1 turned out.

Very touchy here. I asked a perfectly reasonable question. You're making claims that the largest android phone manufacturer is the only company to have complaints about the latest chipset in it's devices. Well if you really "think" about it, it could also mean it's the only company where people care about it's improvements or actively has more users than all the other brands, so naturally there'll be more complaining.

The point I'm making to you here is by sharing some guys anecdotal experience and raising concerns over a phone you neither use or own is pretty much what is called spreading FUD, especially since you seem adamant in showcasing right in the heart of a Samsung community. Personally I don't need opinions from ordinary Joe's to tell me if a product in tech is good or bad, I'm more a hands on type of person. Don't get me wrong, I watch reviews and opinions on phones as much as the next guy, but I don't get swayed easily by some individuals obvious bias. Instead of following other people's hypothetical problems, use hands on experience as your guide. Spreading messages trying to convince other users theres a problem, of a phone you never used or owned is just petty and shows an agenda.
