S25 edge

Hi I have a s25 edge. On my previous phone (galaxy) and all other galaxy phones. When wifi calling is selected, it opens up a sub menu, with network or WiFi preferred. This helps me as I select wifi preferred as I live in a network dead zone and the WiFi calling won't kick in unless the signal is zero. If u select wifi preferred it kicks in earlier, keeping your calls safe from dropping. This option on the s25 edge is not available. When you press wifi calling, it just turns it on/off when previously it would direct you to the sub menu. Any help. Network is sky Mobile

The option for preference isn't there on the edge phone. The above pic was taken off a s24 using the latest version of android

@Pandy73: If you are enabling Wi-Fi Calling via the Quick Panel, try pressing and holding on the icon to bring up the settings menu. Alternatively, head to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling > On > Calling preference > Wi-Fi preferred.

Do you have mobile data disabled? It must be on for mobile preferred to show

I'm on Sky mobile also, and with my S25 ultra I don't get the option for WiFi preferred 🤔 I think that this could be a Sky problem in regards to how their sims set up WiFi calling because I bought my ultra from Samsung and use Sky sim only contract.

Maybe the S25 Edge lacks the features in the specs as it's the same as the base model ones.

Hi looking at the previous response it looks like a sky mobile issue, for some reason that option has been disabled as its not on the edge or the ultra version. I've called samsung and they ship it with that on, but the network carriers can disable various menus to suit them
