hi since getting my s25 ultra 1tb I noticed the battery was draining down way quicker then it does on my old 23 ultra and I know the s25 processor is way more powerful but I was going over all my settings and noticed that ram plus was auto turned on as default from samsung set to 8gb I didn't expect that this would make any difference but I turned it off and it auto restarts my phone and right away I have noticed that it's not draining anyway near what it was before but now it's even running a bit quicker then it did before when it was already very quick and smooth to start with but this has helped me and if your having the same issue then hopefully it helps you too ,

Bear in mind that the new phone battery always drains quicker until it adjusts itself to your use. It will get better after a week. There's nothing to worry about👏.

Early days mate....learning phase, syncing n all that, it will start putting apps into deep sleep...

I also noticed ram plus is auto enabled and turned it off. I'm not sure it's really needed with 12gb of real ram, plus have read some negative things about its use.

Never considered the effect on battery though

I know that's usually the case but I didn't have as much battery drain on any other Samsung devices I have had but this was going down like 7%an hour on battery saving mode too with nothing running in the backround but just doing this made a lot of difference for me over night I only lost 3% the same as it was on my s23 ultra which is better then lossing almost all the battery over night like mines did when I first got it so hope if any of you have this issue that it helps too

RAM plus has always defaulted to on for a few generations now, sadly. I personally dislike using it, but found since last year it was necessary to keep it on to mitigate many games from crashing on the S24 Ultra. It's probably all sorted out nowadays, but I haven't bothered to change the setting this year.

Hey there

Your device will be in the battery learning stage in the first 14 days.

Wait until the 14 days are up and then see how your battery is.

Mine is double what I was getting on S24 Ultra

Mine hasn't dropped much with my heavy usage. I'm just on the full HD resolution and light performance because light performance is still as quick as standard performance and full HD doesnt look as different as qhd.

I had the same issue. I had to wipe the phone and restore my data...so far, it's not draining as much as when I first got it. It is still early days because the phone is learning your phone usage pattern

see I wiped the system cache and also factory reset it but didn't make a difference but turning off ram plus has helped for me I still have 63% just now and my phone has been off of charge since 5:21 this morning with just over 5 hours of on screen time so I'm.happy now 😊
