Hi ,
I was wondering, is there any way to remove list of connected devices to hotspot?
Also, some of the connected devices has green dot and some has blue next to it. I don't know what does that mean?
I've tried reset network settings and reset WiFi and Bluetooth settings but list of connected devices is still in my hotspot settings. Even I can't remove it individually.

The devices connected to your hot-spot are physical devices on your wifi hotshot.

As in, if you connect your laptop to your hot-spot, it will appear in the list. It is telling you the devices connected to your hot-spot signal.

If there's devices you don't recognise, change the password to your hot-spot and re-connect your devices. The unknown ones won't know the new password

Appreciate your response, but concern is not the connected devices. I know all the connected devices so not worried about hotspot being stolen. It's the list that keep increasing and no way to reset or clear the list.
2nd concern is why connected devices have different colours dot next to it. Does it imply some type of connection difference or what?

Just tried it myself, found some things.

They are being listed as a data usage metric, not as a connected device thing. So after a week or month they'll reset, as cellular data usage resets each month.

A device is identified by it's mac addres. If you keep seeing more and more devices, it means one of your devices has mac randomisation enabled and is constantly acting as a new device. I believe the only way to clear the list is wait a week or month. I couldn't find a way to reset it.

For the colours, I actually couldn't figure it out. Thought it might be related to the frequency of the connection but it's not that.

Thanks for explaining the data usage metric part. Now I understand it's not a list for connected devices but the amount of data each connection used. Will wait and see if the list refreshes after a month. I guess the colours imply 2.4 or 5ghz connection difference.
