S25 Ultra connecting to Wifi but no Internet Connection

Hey everyone,

I’ve been running into a really frustrating issue with my S25 Ultra. The phone connects to WiFi networks just fine, but it won’t actually give me internet access. The weird part is that all my other devices at home work perfectly—laptops, tablets, even older phones have no issues at all. It’s only the S25 Ultra.

I’ve already tried the usual fixes:

  • Forgetting and reconnecting to the network

  • Resetting network settings

  • Restarting both my phone and router

But the problem isn’t limited to my home WiFi. I noticed it also happens on my school and work networks—same exact issue: it shows “Connected” but no internet connection.

Since it’s happening across different networks, I’m thinking it’s not a router or network issue but something specific to the phone. Has anyone else with an S25 Ultra experienced this? Could it be a software bug, or do I need to look into a hardware issue?

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

You don't happen to have a vpn on your phone or have secure dns manually enabled?

No vpns and just have the dns on the automatic settings it defaults to.

Turn the dns off, if it works either the dns is blocking internet access due to isp restrictions like work networks, or the dns provider you're using is resstricting use based on subscription

I've also tried turning it off but continued to have issues so just turned it back on . Weird cause this issue only recently started maybe 2 weeks ago and I've had this phone this release.

Do you have multiple wifi access points on your network? I had a problem on my network with my S25U which I solved by changing the MAC address type from Randomised MAC to Phone MAC. The problem I had was "problem authenticating on network" or something similar to that.
