Reasons why I won't buy the S25 ultra

1. No minimum 16GB RAM. AI need that.

2. No Smart View wallet cover case. I don't like spigen or any case you release for S25 series. I used only Smart View cover case. I don't like third-party cases either .

This two reasons is enough to my decision to not buy S25 ultra this year at all

You're right. I really see no reason why ALL AI features can't come to the S22, S23, S24 series, they have the same RAM as the S25 series, especially after the proof that OneUI 7 xda developers managed to run it on the Samsung Galaxy 8, a mobile phone manufactured in 2017 that has 4GB of RAM... Hmmm, maybe Samsung should hire XDA developers?

I used to like the smart view case. But before the window just became a hole. The earlier one (i think s21ultra) had a full length panel along the side. This was great.

But the s23 ultra was just a small hole with no material in the window... this was more disappointing.

I'm glad you like it, but I actually prefer wallet cases. The Samsung Smart LED cover and Smart View cover perfectly protected the entire phone, not just the back, but the screen as well. Like others, I've dropped my phone a few times and it stayed intact thanks to the Smart View cover cases.

I bought the spigen one which is very similar. The ringke is also in my basket. I'm also waiting for other colours to be available in the ringke silicone. Hoping this will be the one, just not pink which is available. 🤞

I would not bet on it. People tend to stick with their familiar technology. Of course, some will try different ones. S25 is very similar to S24, with some upgrades. I can see the S25 doing as well as the S24.

Case I can understand but ram is a minor I've never used a case since the S2 lol 😆 but each to their own

The problem with higher spec on other markets is that many of us would feel neglected and does not seem fair.

I agree with your sentiment. The hole put me off the official smart view case for the S24 Ultra.

I understand the rational behind, to keep the camera free, but it also gives very little protection to the lenses.

I still have Smart LED view cover on my S21 ultra, although the LED notifications stopped working on the case itself, but the case itself was of very good quality.

I have a Smart View cover on the S24 Ultra. It works perfectly, the animated smart View window is too cute. But the quality of the case itself is really "ecological" - it will fall apart before the S24 Ultra is 2 years old 😂

I like wallet cases as well. They are a bit cumbersome but give better over all protection.
