Quick panel media player

How do I get media player back when pull down the quick panel like on my old Samsung phone. Now I need to press a button to access media which adds an extra step I don't want which is really annoying. I just want to pull down quick panel and pause or play my media again. Does anyone know how to get this back.

On my phone when I swipe down to bring up Settings, I have Media output displayed.  Is that what you're referring to? 

When I tap on that, the Second screenshot appears.

Hi, this is a terrible change in the new UI and is making me second guess upgrading to S25

I have set Panel Settings to "Together" (all android users prefer this over the 'seperate' option catered for Apple users)

My Device Control & Media Output is set to "Show when quick panel collapsed"

HOWEVER this only shows the buttons and not the expanded view of my Media control, which then required an additional press to play/pause/skip my music or videos

Please show the expanded view of Media control in quick settings so that we can control any audio playing in one swipe as previously done

Yep Samsung really need to bring back the way it was why do they have to keep changing things that aren't broken!!

+1 this needs to be fixed for both screens. Annoying to have to swipe twice. The music on the lockscreen was fine as it was. Now it's a tiny bar at the bottom of the screen and only shows the track name, and doesn't work at all

agree, it's terrible now. can't see spotify easily.

Came here looking for a solution, signed in just to comment. Please bring this back - for someone who has music, podcasts, and audiobooks playing most of the day, it's very inconvenient to have to swipe down twice just to pause or control the media.

It really does bother me that we have to deal with this new UI.
I now have to do more swipes than before for the same thing, why would anybody consider this is a good idea?!

If i would have wanted an iphone with cr*ppy UI, i would have bought an iphone.

Please give us a way to go back to the more user friendly old UI, thank you.

Hi @RyanD2, would it be possible for you to raise more awareness about this with Samsung given the amount of strong opinions and  the number of people having them? 

It would be great to hear an acknowledgement from the team if possible! If you think this is not enough noise about the subject, I can share a dozen more links about people complaining about this exact change!

Just got the update and was expecting this to be fixed when I updated it but no still the same. Does anyone from Samsung even read these

Signing in just to say I agree, this extra step is both annoying and pointless. All this effort to make our lives easier with AI and they add a step for media. Nonsensical.
