Hi! Please can you elaborate on this question?

Did you mean how to make it so that a password is needed to turn off the device?

Simply? You don't.

You get an option asking you to confirm you wish to power down your device. That's it.

That isn't actually a feature or setting in the phone.

Okay, on my previous device which was s23 ultra, before I can power off my device it would require I put my password but I can't find the settings on my s25 ultra

It should ask for a password anyways?. But you can search "Show Lockdown mode option" and then turn it on. Now, by clicking the buttons, you can enable a setting called "enable lockdown," which will then require a code to do anything.

It may not be asking you when you turn off device as FACEID doing it for you1740589238821.jpg1740589238865.jpg1740589238882.jpg

If your phone is locked i.e screen blank then if someone holds down the power off button @Olayinks it will ask for a pin or fingerprint.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Really don't understand why you would want to do that.

By selecting to power down your device, if it were stolen for example they still can't get into it when powered up.

Seems a pointless exercise hence why it isn't standard.

Apparently it's good to keep the phone ON to track it if it gets stolen. 😊
