There is likely to be some battery depletion in the early days as the algorithm releans your useage pattern over 7-14 days.  However this will settle down and your Battery life should be at least as good as previously in due course. As mentioned it is good practice to clear the cache partition as some temporary cache files become outmoded/corrupt.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Given the stable version only came out today, we won't have any real world examples.

Usually we would recommend....

1. Update OS
2. Wipe Partition Cache
3. Reset Battery Settings
4. Restart device

Wait 14 days for battery to recalibrate.🙏

First, turn off Auto Blocker then follow these instructions EXACTLY as written

Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)

Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.

Turn Auto Blocker back on

Restart device

Wait 14 days for battery optimisation to complete.
