In addition to what you wrote, what I don't like is once folder is unlocked it stays unlocked. Unless you pick an option to lock automatically. The best is auto lock "when screen turns off". But in UI7 once you left the folder it locked. I would like to see that option added. There is an option to "Lock and Exit". That was automatic when leaving the folder.Seems no matter how you set up the security, secure folder is still tied to screen lock. IE lock when screen turns off.

There’s also an issue in One UI 8: when you're in your regular phone environment and navigate to Settings → Apps, your Secure Folder apps are visible. At the bottom, there are two tabs: “Personal” and “Secure Folder.” You have to manually hide the Secure Folder every time so those apps don’t show up. In One UI 7, you didn’t need to do that.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to roll back to One UI 7?

I agree I noticed secure folder no longer has a option to lock itself after u close the app.which is by far the stupidest thing u could do .I swear to God I think Samsung getting dumber with each update
