One ui 7 alarm volume

Is anyone else having issues with the alarm volume on One UI 7 on the S 25 Ultra?
It keeps resetting down to a minimum volume
Every night before bed I have to go back into the settings & increase the volume?!?

Hi! This is very odd. Sadly the only solution I've found to this is downloading an app called volume lock- It seems to work pretty well for others.

Go to settings- apps- clock- storage- clear cache- restart phone

Go to clock- alarm- 3 dots- volume adjust- assuming you've tried this?

If you go into the clock app
Go into the alarm
Tap on alarm sound and to the bottom is the volume setting for the alarm
See if that fixes it

As @Glenntech has said, there is a volume control in the Samsung Clock App.

You certainly don't need to go and get another app as suggested above.

Your device is very customisable, more than any Samsung device previously. So you need to change the volume in the right place, not just using the volume buttons the night before.

I am having the same issue since I upgraded to the S25 Ultra. Yes we know how how to adjust the volume of the alarm but this is not this issue. Now the problem is if we lower our phone's volume for regular use and media it also makes the alarm go low and if we forget to turn the phone up before bed we are screwed!......We want the alarm volume to stay where it's at. Its an ALARM! why would it be adjusting all the ***** time. Anyways if you guys know a solution plz help. ( Note it was not like this on my S23U I traded in last month. Think it's a OneUI7 feature)

I have the S25 Ultra and am definitely changing volume across my device every day, multiple times. It is not impacting my 2 alarms at all.

Hence I'm far from convinced that the setting of the alarm volume is being done correctly.....

Same issue, it just auto lowers the alarm volume. Not sure what causes it.

Same issue. I have gone into alarm settings and set alarm to max volume and picked the option: use same volume for all alarms. I even added the clock app to the do not disturb exception list. It still resets the alarm volume every night.

 

This is going to be an issue until it gets resolved. I traded in my S23 Ultra and my wife has the S24 Ultra and neither my old phone or my wife's current phone does this. Definitely a problem with the S25 Ultra and/or One UI 7. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

It's counterproductive to the updates, but turning off the shared alarm volume, and setting them individually solves the issue.
