I recently got a base s25 and really happy with it, ultra fast and smooth, though it cant surpass 60fps on any game, like monoposto, warzone mobile and cpm2. Surely a software issue and really annoying since the last year's s24 does 120fps on warzone mobile. So Samsung pls consider optimising the phones so the 7 year's of software update could more meaningful. 

AGAIN, this phone is blazing fast and smooth, id like better cameras though.

Its on light when I'm not playing games, but when I do it's on performance

What about game settings within the games themselves? Any options to turn on 120fps?

Performance profile settings don't apply when a game is running btw. The performance settings are set in game booster within the gaming app.

And for performance, the app developer might have just not optimised the game for the new chip yet.

Though in testing, my phone is more than powerful, even besting a meta quest 3 in running vrchat

Yh on game booster as well, it's on performance mode, and no it's a Samsung problem since phones like redmagic and oneplus does 120 (ive seen redmagic doing higher than 120fps).

It's not just raw performance. Every phone is a little different so the game dev has to optimise the app for each device. The s24 has been out a lot longer so probably has a lot more optimisations. Plus I've seen reports of performance issues specifically in war zone for lots of devices.

A way to kinda test, if your fps is low and your phone feels normal or warm, it's the game.

If your fps is low and your phone feels really hot and practically burning, it's the phone.

I just watched a youtude video and the s24 ultra does 60fps stable on maximum graphics and the redmagic 10 pro does more than 100fps
