Edit: See a solution below...

Being an engineer i am always trying to understand improvements that could be made.

One thing that i find a minor frustration is that there is no notification when the battery reaches its charge level. With battery charging improving in speed at 45W the battery reaches its programmed level pretty quickly these days.

Smart charging protection features can be implemented to stop charging at 80% to protect the battery, and even moreso if you like the regime of plugging in at 30% and to stop charging at 80%... this may only take some 30 minutes or so. So when is it done ? User needs to iteratively check every 10 minutes or so the progress.

it would be useful for a notification when this level has been reached at 80% / 100% and time to remove the port cable. Rather like a 'microwave ping' to say it is done... surely oneUI can send a chime when battery charge has been reached ? It would save the user from needing to check constantly their charge level.

I dont believe this has been implemented with any phones to date, so perhaps this is not possible with current battery tech.... but my engineering brain says that this should be possible... the software can calculate your charge level in order to use these smart charging features to stop at 80%, and it already makes a chime when you first plug in to start charging.

Maybe there is a goodlock or an external launcher function that covers this function that i have been missing ?

This is just an idea... but I am surprised it hasn't been implemented.

Have a good day all.

After some messing around in settings, i have realised that it is a possible task in the 'modes and routines' to set a battery level notification... perhaps to start playing some music when completed, or another action can be set.

So although this is not 'natively supported'... as a user you can set your own rules. The solution is have set is shown below.

Wow .... the routines can be set with some fairly clever features.

The Modes and Routines options is an under used powerful set of tools indeed @smiley

In fact in debugging, you can also check the history of the routines being activated... just to confirm it has triggered or not.

This is located in the routines menu under 'history'.

@smiley  yes problem solving is satisfying.   Routines can certainly greatly aid additional functionality ,some experimentation is needed.
