Mobile data toggle bugging out

Hello,

I bought the s25+ maybe 2 weeks ago, but after the recent software update there has been a bug that... well been bugging me :smiling-face:

When i am on my home screen and try to switch from wifi to mobile data (turning off wifi then turning on mobile data or vice versa) the toggle for the mobile data would bug out showing the opposite of what is actually happening

For example: let's say i want to turn on wifi because i am at home, i like to turn off mobile  data  to save a little battery, the toggle for the mobile data shows it's on while it's clearly off (as shown in the screenshot below) and this only happens when on the home screen. To fix it i just have to slide the quick panel up and then down again or sometimes enter any app and slide the quick panel and it's fixed

I reported this issue in another post about another bug (turned out to be coverage issue) and a user said that he/she is experiencing the same thing.

Is this happening to someone else ?

Have you tried to clear the phone partition cache? It is a good practice following a firmware update

Are making a change yourself rather than using a modes/routine

Hello 👋 @Amer99

I'm not personally experiencing this on my phone.

Sometimes after an update the following step can help if the phone is displaying glitches.

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
