minor issue with Routine occasionally not working

I created a Routine that only displays the Always On Display during a certain period of time.

There have been several occasions where AOD doesn't appear, and for the life of me, I can't figure out what's interfering with it.   If I restart the phone, it works as it should (during that specific time period).

Any thoughts?

I looked in Modes and Routines / three dots / History and did see some information, but it's not specific enough  ...

AOD started / Couldn't perform some actions
Always on Display / Couldn't perform this action because another operation is preventing it.

I'm still in the dark, so to speak.

It is telling you there is a conflict with another routine. Check what's running at the same time. Post here what they do if want and we can all have a look what it could be
