MDM Lock on Samsung purchased device

I purchased a s25 ultra from Samsung UK direct in January I have come to sell the phone to music magpie UK and they advise the phone has a mdm lock this is impossible as it's never been used near my work nor come from anyone except Samsung 

Music magpie continue to claim there is a mdm lock I got the device back and there is nothing to suggest there is a lock as my own work phone has a email and password set up for the corporate set up

i have done some research and people said the same on their s24 ultra purchased direct from Samsung so is there an issue with the phone or something which is showing when these recycle companies make the checks 

I am concerned I can't now sell my own s25 ultra has anyone else had this issue??

Did you take out repayments when you purchased the phone.
If you paid it off recently. You may need to wait a while for finance companies to update

Most finance companies don't work like that. So I doubt it's MDM locked if you got it on finance unless maybe Samsung flex. Most finance companies don't bother what you do with the item you got through finance. You just borrow the money so they don't care as long as you make the repayments. If you don't repay they'll take you to court.

You did factory reset the device and remove all personal accounts before selling it?

Yes absolutely everything removed Samsung and Google 

The phone has never been near my work 

Surprisingly this was also an issue with the s24 ultra
