I am disappointed with Samsung the new S25 ultra has lost a of features.

S pen has lost its Bluetooth feature with the S25 ultra which made it one of the best features of Samsung phones and I have done a lot of work with the S pen

Processor is a snap dragon 8 gen 3 is just renamed to ultra the actual processing speed had not changed

Camera they have no changed from the S24 ultra apart the bezels are no longer real but plastic fake rings that can detach with a little bit of heat and around front still the same measley 12mp selfie camera if the A series phones like the A55 has a 32mp selfie the ultra should have a 100mp selfie camera

With all the hype it seems Samsung have lost touch just cost cutting even with cornings girllia glass armour 2 is weakest then last year's gorilla glass armour

This year it seems like Samsung has fallen way behind the pack when leading the race between apple and Samsung and I am opting for one that will be apple. Samsung you have to do something to convince me to stay.

I think your care more than you claim since you took the time to post here and write all that. If you are not happy with the direction of the new Ultra the you should look for an alternative phone and i hope you find one. The Bluetooth is not coming back, most customers don't use and rather not pay for it. MagSafe is not compatible with it and more customers want that, including me. The camera rings are on every camera phone to protect the lens from getting scratched. Easier to replace them under warranty. The glass was developed by another company and I'm not sure the video represents the level of precise scientific testing used by the company that developed it. How did he make the pressure he applied to each scratch with previous tests done last year? What's to say he's pressed harder to get more views. I say the glass is diamond proof so why not believe me? Because I have not presented exact testing process with verification. Just like the video. I think his video was purposely negative as that gets more clicks.

You mention that Samsung is falling behind Apple so maybe try a new iPhone and see if that suits.

If I pay 1,3k for a phone I'm paying for all the features as I did for the last one and I find out that Bluetooth is missing off the S pen and the camera rings are fake as well as a few other thing as well as a remained processor that was the same I would be pissed off and I have every right to be. As you you saying the negative it wasn't as Zach from Jerryrigeverything don't believe in click bait.

I think he does care and feels let down! What did we gain this year from the loss of the BT S Pen? Nothing! Only Samsung got more money from not supporting it. Just because you do not use it, does not mean it does not matter. It was a cost-saving measure, most likely, and they felt they could deal with the negativity from the users.. taking something away with no good reason is not going to wash well with a consumer. Even if not used much, they liked it! Yes, it is faster, but that is great if you are a gamer and there are options for gaming phones.. that is not what me, as a productivity nut, always liked about the phone. Not sure on the glass, and I think JerryRigEverything does a great job of showing what is good and bad with the internals of a phone. He himself is a Samsung S24 user and I think he too was disappointed! As well as Marques Brownlee.. it is not like this is unnoticed by the tech folks who were big fans of the S24 and felt something went wrong with this "advancement". I think, also as a productivity nerd, I am already able to get AI to do things on my phone that the new updates did not advance much for me. It made some of it easier to use.. but not much more. So yes, there are some strong reasons for upgrading to get the power you need if you game or do video editing on your phone and the like, enjoy a slightly better lens and some updates to the photo software, and are sold that the AI is worth it. I am all cool with that. BUT, the S24 did very well for these.. so ya, it probably does come down to what you use the phone for.. but 1% of the expected 25 million Ultra buyers that liked that S Pen BT are not going to be happy and are going to mention it. Not coming back? Not so sure. Your confidence in what you do not know and assume is not necessarily right. Where you put the coil to charge the pen could offset the Magsafe stuff.. People are pretty darn smart and AI should be able to help them figure out an idea for it! Hoping we see big leaps in the next 2 years. I know that the S26 is pretty much a done phone at this point. Remember, the S Pen BT lure may not be that important, but they gave whole segments to it in previous years to lure the Note users to the Ultra and others to buy in.

You're either trolling or just have no idea. It is not a simple renamed SD 8 Gen 3. The SD 8 Elite is a 3nm chip which in itself is the major design shift from the 4nm design of the last generation.

That is cool! How has it or will it help you with the use of the phone? If you are gaming or trying to use the phone to do some local AI (Which is possible and super cool these days) I get it! If this is not your reason for the phone, it does not make a $1300 difference

How do you quantify what $1300 makes? Besides the fact this is a UK forum and we typically use £, the phone itself never cost me $1300 either.

How it benefits me in daily use is, it achieves tasks faster, thus more efficiently completing operations. In turn this not only improves the user experience, it also helps prolong battery life just that little bit better. A win-win overall.

But the higher percentage of consumers, who use their phones for games, etc, will be happy with the faster chip, unfortuanetly, samsung, apple, bmw, playstation, microsoft, etc, etc will always make decisions that they believe benefits the majority, and not everyone, as you put it, is a tech nerd, so what you get are slight improvements, in areas, some you'll like, some you won't, tbf there has been too much media focus on the non bluetooth spen, but how good it is to do it with your watch, etc!!! Everyone's needs are different, same as their opinions, as for me, the s25 Ultra is very good and I'd expect the one in 2027/28 to be even better!!

Fair points.. And ya, I am not certain why I got in on the Euro discussion. I guess I just wanted to make the Galxy Phone great again. LOL. Seriously, though, the Galaxy Note series was more for the geeky productivity Nerd (like me) and not the gaming one.. The Ultra was kind of bringing both worlds together with the S pen and the great top of the line features. The removal kind of was a fork in the road again instead of an inclusive decision. But it is probably because the demographic of the user base has changed too with gaming being so important. Sorry I joined a discussion from across the pond. I seriously did not recognize the EU in the url until it was pointed out. Ya the Euro dollar made sense, but I think the issues are the same for those that are missing things.

Not need to apologise, I'm sure everyone one on here likes to hear different points of view/expectations, etc, its how we finally end up with a product that the majority will defend, love and keep on buying!!
