Galaxy S25/S25+ Camera Issues

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S25 base model and I noticed that in some pictures with strong light or high contrast, a thick line appears that seems to have a different color, it appears quite often and I don't know if it's software or hardware problem, in expert raw or gcam that line is not visible. is anyone else having this problem?

Hi and welcome. The lines you could be referring to are called banding.

Normally does happen i low light situations or mostly on grey backgrounds.

You might have to tweak some settings like higher display settings etc.

The banding is not the problem here, watch closer. There is a darker wide column in the center of these images.

I have the same problem with the S25 Ultra, that central band in the image, also in the sky the processing makes some artifacts that make the photo a pitiful image

I would be keen to hear if any of the fixes rolled out have fixed the issue, sample from my new S25 Ultra, one shot using night mode (bands evident) one shot without.

I also have this problem. 

Unfortunately it wasn't fixed with the latest system update. I chatted with sansung support yesterday and they told me that they are still aware of this issue and it will be fixed with a new update. They couldn't tell me if its going to be a camera app or system update. And of course no timeline for this.

Does not sound very promising after all... Fingers crossed.
