I recieved £717 for the value of the s25 ultra plus an additional £100 off which i recieve after they recieve the phone

I finally did it. I was really disappointed in the S25 Ultra by the lack of hardware upgrades. Same battery, same 45W fast charging, same 2600-nit display, same camera sensors except for the ultrawide, same selfie camera, S Pen downgrade; the phone is basically an S24 Ultra with an 8 elite chipset.

I have been using the S25 Ultra, and

it is very impressive in its performance. Fast as hell and very responsive. However, it ends there. The camera was really disappointing with the same sensors as previous years. Battery life was improved, maybe slightly, but it is still the same old 5000 mAh battery.

I just feel like its time to move on to actual flag ship so I chose the xiaomi 15 ultra..

I chose it because of the 1-inch camera sensor, 5400 mAh battery, 90 W fast charging, 16 GB RAM, 3200 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and a 32 MP selfie camera. Not to mention all the different camera modes. Plus, I get a free 120 W fast charger, free photography kit, and free tablet.

A 1-inch sensor is enough for me to switch. The 80W fast charging, 16GB RAM, 3200-nit brightness, IR blaster, 32MP selfie camera, 200MP periscope lens, and 80W wireless charging, along with a 5300mAh battery, are the reasons I'm switching.

Seems better to me.

I agree with your frustrations! I sent back my S25 ultra. I'm not content with it like some are.
I kept my S23 ultra. Such a brilliant bit of kit. The novelty still hasn't worn off, and I can't stop playing with it.
Personally, I'm waiting to see what surprises the S26 ultra will have. I think we're all expecting the ™️ innovation factor back. This includes behaving themselves with the Bluetooth spen, and hopefully, a very bloody useful ir blaster would be so welcome like the xiaomi and many other phones have. That xiaomi looks like a great bit of kit. That photography kit would be a nice toy to play with. Hope you enjoy your new purchase 👍🏻

I've said before it's too good a phone to give up for what's on offer. Love taking super sharp selfies using the rear cameras with the effortless assistance of the ever so useful Bluetooth spen! Game changer right there..

@Haytch Sorry for your disappointment with the S25U. New chapter new experiences tech is always calling so it's sometimes hard to ignore trying something different. Wish you good luck and welcome back if you feel Samsung is still better 😊

Hi @Haytch

Good luck and enjoy the new toy.

It seems a bold move to change a S25 Ultra within the first weeks of buying it, but you make a compelling argument.

The Chinese brands have been dominating the camera department.

Hi @Haytch

I think the best way to transfer Notes is to export/save/share them.

Open Notes, select the notes, tap share or three dots and choose share as file or save as file.

If you save it on the phone then just transfer them wired or wireless.

All the best,

Yeah, I've been with the Samsung ecosystem for several years, so it's definitely a bold, risky decision, but I just couldn't say no to a 1-inch sensor and 90W fast charging. Something I've never had with a Samsung (maybe Samsung will bring it in the future).

But until then, I am testing the waters with the Xiaomi and will see what it's like. Thanks for the support.
