How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

I've seen that too yet it's not possible to use just one hand for me..I have to use both...spent most of the day fixing the "helpful" junk they forced on me..bixby was forced back on my phone and watch with no way of disabling like b4 although samsung tells me I can...the search bar is so out of place it's like a child did it...I was lucky to have only lost most of my data/information tho....I'm told a patch is coming in a few months to fix what they "fixed"...

I just came here because after the last update the s23 ultra had the bar at the bottom. I hate it!!!

Wtf is samsung doing lately? (Actually it started years ago with dropping the 1. headphone jack, 2.microsd slot 3.mains charger). I always liked samsung and android over apple because of configurability. If they want to make an iphone clone, well just carry on. There will be no reason for me to stay with samsung any longer

Agree!! Why not just let us customize it to how we like?? I keep accidentally opening apps that are on the top now, it's so annoying 😑

Leave it to to Android to fix something that isn't broken. Please make the app search position customizable, so we can move it back to the top where it belongs.

We didn't ask for this. I use Android/Samsung for its customizability and this is the opposite. Might be time to look for another brand that doesn't tell me what I need instead of letting me choose. This update is trash!

OMG SAME, I just switched from s22u to s25u. The new system has a really bad design TBH. I also want to move the search bar/finder to the top. And I spent 2 hrs to figure this out, but no solutions found. SAMSUNG really needs to fix this feature asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That first reply is just shiet. Lol. "We are all humans and learn to adapt!" That's so out of touch with reality that it made me so angered I created this account just to reply. Haha. Crazy. 

Please move the search bar back to the top. I don't need to learn to "adapt" to it being at the bottom
