How do I remove an actionable link in Notes?

I'll write a Date or even a string of numbers into a Note and it becomes an actionable link, there's a blue line under the text indicating a link.  I just wanted text information to be displayed.

I'll long press the information in question and I'm given options, unfortunately none is Remove link.

Now, I'm sure this is a feature, but it would be nice if I could remove the actionable link (especially if I don't want it).

I should add, the links don't appear if I look just at the Note without actually opening the Note.  Once I tap on the Note to view it, those links rear their ugly heads.

Any thoughts?

@davehorne: This feature is in place to give you the option to add an event that coincides with any dates or times you might enter, as well as add interactive weblinks. Do disable this option, head to the Samsung Notes landing page > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop-up window > Show links in notes > Toggle this option off.

Andrew, thanks!   I don't think I would have found that.  :smiling-face:
