You're currently on the beta program as updates are not stable on beta version. You can try wiping the cache on the Google Play Services then restart your phone to see if it works.

I think the next update will get the latest Playstore software version.
But its one of the things you put up with on Beta software

Now and again it happens. Usually a reboot fixes it. You can also just wait a few hours
