Device Information:
Model: Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
Vehicle: 2023 Toyota Hilux (Stock Head Unit)
Google Play System Update Version: May 1, 2025 (Stuck/Unable to update)
Connection Method: Wired (USB)
When connecting the S25 FE to the vehicle's head unit, Android Auto initializes and connects successfully for a brief period (approx. 1–5 minutes). Subsequently, the connection drops completely, displaying a "Lost Connection" or "Connection Failed" error on the head unit. The phone then attempts to reconnect in a loop or fails entirely.
I already tried:
- Tested multiple high-quality data cables (including OEM Samsung and third-party 10Gbps rated cables).
- Cleared Cache and Data for the Android Auto app; uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto updates.
- Performed a full Factory Reset on the S25 FE.
- Cross-Testing:
Tested the S25 FE with a different vehicle (issue persists).
Tested other Android phones with the 2023 Hilux (Other phones connect stably, ruling out the car's USB port).
- Updates: Attempted to update Google Play System software, but the device is stuck on the May 2025 patch and refuses to pull newer updates.
I suspect that given that the device is unable to update the Google Play System beyond May 2025, there may be a handshake incompatibility between this older system component and the current version of Android Auto/One UI on the S25 FE. Please advise on a fix for the Google Play System update loop or provide a patch for Android Auto stability on the S25 FE.

Hi @davelan155
Welcome to the community forum.
Android Auto is not a Samsung application. Any fix should come from Google. You might like contacting the App's developer.
The community's members are customer like yourself. We can advise but Google is the only one releasing fixes for this app or any app made by them.
