I'm trying to manually back up all the albums in secure folder so I have to move them out of secure folder. (I also have to rename them or theyll get merged into albums with the same name and then I'll have to spend hours sorting through all my albums). On my phone I can view the photos fine. But after I've moved the albums to my pc they are always empty so the photos in my secure folder can only ever be viewed on this device and I have to keep it for the rest of my life.
Is this another bug in secure folder ? Or a massive oversight ?
Have I missed something ? I gotta be doing something wrong surely ?

I have clearly written what I have done - it is a bug. Just cos it doesn't happen with you does not mean everything is ok it is not - bugs don't happen to all users. If you cant post anything constructive don't bother.

What ?
Listen as I have said - if I move folders containing pictures out of secure folder they show normally in gallery but they show as empty on linux and windows pcs. Clearly a bug - encryption is still enabled even though they have been moved out of secure folder. I can get round it by copying all the pictures to another folder, then the encryption is removed and the folders show as full in linux and windows. When the original folders are moved back to secure folder they are displayed fine in secure folder gallery but in secure folder my files only 2 folders are shown and both are empty despite secure folder gallery containing 5 folders full of images even after rebooting. This is clearly a bug and nothing to do with my approach because if there are 5 folders full of pictures in secure folder then secure my files should display 5 folders full of pictures this is the way computing works end of. Secure folder on oneui7 is known to be buggy anyway and these are clearly 2 more bugs. The only thing I cant confirm is whether secure folder my files displayed them correctly before I moved them out and back again as I never checked. Now if you don't have anything constructive to say please do not post.

It gets worse - now it won't connect to a pc at all, charging only rarely get the prompt to allow file transfer and when I do (2 times out of 30 attempts) the pc file explorer is empty windows or linux , toggled different usb settings on and off tried multiple cables. This is a £1500 POS, no support from samsung no support from the community. Deffo back to the chinese next time - way cheaper way more advanced far better spec and way more reliable.

No bug and or encryption still  being enforced mumbo jumbo

That charging port is playing up. Contact Samsung support via Members app and let them deal with it. If hardware issue it will be be rectified under warranty that I'm assuming phone is still under

The secure folder problems I'm having are entirely separate from the charging port bug - anyone with a basic knowledge of IT can see that. As I've said numerous times there are issues with secure folder on oneui7 and the bug I have is clearly related to that because I would get the issues on ALL folders not just ones that have been moved out of secure folder but I do not I only get the problem with files that have been moved out of secure folder or ones that have been moved back. But yep the charging port is playing up has been for months or it could be the fast charging bug that's effected the s25 ultra and still hasn't been fixed. As I said if you aren't gonna post anything constructive then don't bother.
