Hi
Lovely People

These are my views on the S25 ultra on the1st Day of having it.
Bear in mind that these are just initial thoughts ( subject to change) and am comparing it to my S24 ultra.

OUT OF BOX EXPERIENCE.

Compared to my S24 ultra
1. The screen looked blueish when Off compared to the deep black on the s24 ultra.
2. The Design on my S24 ultra to me looked more premium then the S25 ultra.
3. Photos taken on the S24 ultra looked more detailed in the S25 ultra gallery.
4. The S25 ultra is way more snappier then the S24 ultra.
5. Battery life is around 4 hours SOT at 50%. Which feels similar to my S24 ultra give or take.

Things I Love on the S25 Ultra.
1. The phone is fast.
2. Log video
3. Virtual aperture
4. Chi charging availability
5. Audio eraser

Things I have not Liked.
1. The flat design
2. The camera ring bumps
3. Seems to get hot while using camera

Day 1 verdict

Just to sum up the day.

The S25 ultra has got quite a lot going for it and I am quite happy I got it. Although I feel I should have kept my s24 ultra as well and not traded it in.

I doubt you will get everything on the s24 ultra as the s25 ultra has so much goodies baked in I feel they might be because of the elite chip and other stuff Samsung has done to the phone.

This might not be an upgrade but it's definitely a big update and one not to miss.

I can't wait to try all the new stuff.

Have any of you upgraded from the S24 ultra do let me know your thoughts.

Have a great day. 😊

Well yeah I see your point i wouldn't buy Chinese myself. I was there when Nokia fell and they felt like they were unbeatable back in 2009 but that's when they fell and never really got back up. Was never a fan of the windows phones but Microsoft never were good at hardware lol. Even if they bought Nokia to do it. We will see where the brand is at in another 3 years then I will make a decision if I stay as I have since the s2 in 2010 lol

The S2 was the phone I started as well. My best Samsung ever. Rooting, Roms and what not was the kicker back then. XDA ruled 😊

Well yeah exactly I went from the failed N97 to the S2 and the difference was night and day. As Nokia fell the S2 started samsungs rise. I did have an XDA myself before them on O2 UK it was a brick but had a keyboard and could flip the screen round. 😆

My journey really comes from an SPV E100, then the XDA 2i. I broke that sadly which was replaced with a Samsung SGH I300, quite a unique phone with Windows mobile, Transflash slot and a microdrive (hard drive)! After that it was a Samsung Omnia followed by my first Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy S. I'm curious what could've been had Samsung continued to develop their own Bada OS though.
