Anybody else having issue with finger print recognition on banking apps, revolut, nationwide, PayPal etc, but no issues when just unlocking the phone?
Phone unlocks with the lightest touch but for apps I have to press really hard and doesn't always recognise.
Yes i have glass screen protector but finger prints were set after protector in place.

Hi @rogersdave77

I use Revolut and PayPal and a banking app too and haven't experienced issues your describe.

It might be worth just checking the Biometrics settings in the affected apps.

I use the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Glass Screen Protection on my phone with the extra sensitivity options turned On.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

@rogersdave77 I have not found issues with Screen protectors personally. You may need to reset the fingerprints,I find generally it improves accuracy if you have the  a few finger prints registered twice.

Some customers have also found that clearing the cache partition sorts fingerprint problems though is not guaranteed.

Need to follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Doubling up the finger print looks to have done the trick 👏
