Why is it in today's technology from Samsung that they don't have the ability to use face recognition to sign into everything like backing apps. I also have the iPhone 15 pro max and you can sign into everything regardless of what it is by just looking at the screen. My Samsung all have to use pin or fingerprint.

It is on the Google Pixel 9 series, I use it for Virgin Bank, Starling Bank and works first time with facial unlock, I've just bought the Samsung Galaxy S25 and to say the facial recognition is useless would be an understatement, it takes numerous attempts to even register my face (screen dirty message etc) then it works for one or two times then.... Face not recognised!!!

Do you have a screen protector that covers the lens?

Nope, nothing, I actually spoke with Samsung support (I use the term lightly) and they just suggest all the usual, delete data, reload facial data, soft reset, full reset, clean the lens... Yada, Yada, Yada, and then suggest to send the phone in for repair.

This is totally absurd. I just had the pixel fold and yes it is able to sign in via face id in banking apps . This is surely on Samsung and not on Android developers
