Face id unlock issues

I have issues unlocking my new Samsung s25 using face id recognition in the dark( when lights are off).

The camera will need some lighting on your face to be able to use face recognition

Unlike iphones, samsung face recognition does not work in the dark.

Iphones use IR lights inside the phone to shine on your face, then takes a 3D scan.

Samsung's system takes a photo of your face with the selfie camera. They are totally different.

Of note, face unlock on samsung devices is also nowhere near as secure as iphones. Because samsung put effort into fingerprint scanning, where iphones put effort into face scanning

The sensors are not picking up much light if let's say you are in the pitch black background.

Like mentioned set up a fingerprint, pin, code to unlock your device.

Unfortunately face unlock is still nowhere near close to apples ones (the one thing they nailed it) but instead we have a briliant ultrasonic fingerprint unlock which i use everyday and it's acurate and fast.
