Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is a problem or not but for a few days a cursor (like a black arrowhead) keeps appearing on the screen of the phone. It is not the s pen, I checked that. Does anyone have any ideas on why that would apear?

Have you connected any devices via Bluetooth? Check if it is still there when Bluetooth is off.

Also, make sure that in developer settings, you turn off "Show touch pointer" from Developer options in the Settings app. 1739446674692.jpg

@Mandake: Does the cursor appear in a specific location on the screen, or is it random? Does it appear when performing a certain action on the device? Further to the above, if you head to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > On, and check the 'Paired devices' section towards the top of the screen, is anything listed here that might explain the presence of the cursor?

It appears on the left side a bit higher than the middle of the screen. I tried to take a screenshot when it appears but it doesn't show after the screen shot
It appears on the marked area
And it doesn't matter what I'm doing or what apps I'm using 20250205_182342_1000004020_1739655281.jpg

@Mandake: Please can you try restarting your phone in Safe mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source.

To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

With Safe mode active, monitor the performance of the device for a few hours, based on the frequency that you encounter the issue. If you find that the cursor no longer appears, then please restart your phone as you would normally and uninstall any apps that you have added to the device since you first encountered the issue. It won't be possible to determine exactly which app is at fault, therefore I recommend approaching this via a process of elimination.
