So I'm going though the battery learning phrase again on my S25U but I want to know what battery protection does everyone use during the learning phrase and after?

Just to let you know I use my phone a lot so my usage is high so if you want to give a battery protection recommendation for me personally I would appreciate it :smiling-face:

How often do you upgrade devices? The higher your battery protection, the longer its lifespan will be. In general, I don't believe it matters during the learning phase.

Personally, I just use basic protection as I only charge my phone at night. However, if you are using it a lot and charging it another time throughout the day, I would suggest using adaptive charging.

I plan to keep my S25 for 2 to 3 years and I mostly charge my phone at night.

Honestly, I think maximum may be too much for me. So I would see how you get along with basic/adaptive. Keep an eye on the battery health as time goes on in the battery information page

Hello 👋 @Brooklin

Mine is on Basic

I use the same for all my phone's.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I agree don't think it matters too much in general during the short learning phase. Personally I use maximum set to 80% as for my use am using quite a lot less than that per day. But if I anticipate a particularly busy say will set it to basic. Generally charge it when getting ready in the morning. Really like the additional flexibility now with the additional percentage options for maximum

As a heavy user who's frequently using their device, I'd recommend basic. I use basic as I'm rarely away from my device before and after it's charged. If you have prolonged periods of inactive use after charging, I recommend using a higher setting.

I will be keeping my s25 ultra for at least 7 years so I will use the maximum battery protection and adjust the percentage to 85/90. I think that is the best balance between battery life and longevity. And make sure to not let it drop bellow 20 percent of charge.

And I am glad samsung kept the lithium ion battery insted of the newer organic 6000 milliamps. Test have shown that they do not last as long because they degrade faster.
