Casting icon when screen recording

My S25 Ultra has just updated to One UI 8 and now I find that, when I am screen recording, a casting icon in an orange rectangle appears in the notifications bar at the top of the screen. 

What does it mean?

Noticed it too. Meaning, i took as, screen recording notification

I wondered that, but the old screen recording notification still appears on the left hand side as well.

Hi @Zaichik, the casting notification is to make you aware that your device is recording the screen, in case it has accidentally been enabled. This is to ensure sensitive information, such as passwords, are not accidentally being captured and potentially shared.

Same problem! After updating to one ui 8, the cast screen showed up. Im really worried

I have the same problem on my Flip4 after updating to One UI 8. I thought there is another app that I mistakenly gave permission with overlay / screen cast. Isn't that icon for screen cast / mirroring?
