Cancelled order

Well after much deliberation I cancelled my order. I just don't feel there is that much of a difference between the S24 ultra and the S25 ultra for an ordinary user. Im not a power gamer,video editor or content maker. I don't think the cost can be justified every year for a new phone, even with the discounts offered. The new one ui7 will bring some improvements to the 24 ultra and that will do for now. Sorry samsung but yearly flagship releases is a little too much for the average person. 2 yearly much better.

Agreed the S25 is not worth upgrading if you have an S24 and even S23 Ultra in my view both of which will get the one UI 7 update anyway. I like most nowadays upgrade between 3 to 5 years hence why samsung provide you with 7 years of updates since the s24. Don't feel you need to get the latest model every year it's not like it was 10 years ago when phones changed hardware and software radically it's only incremental updates every year. I won't really be interested till we get to the s27 or s28 by then in Europe at least they have to make the phone with removable batteries again by the customer.

I knew once I started to question my initial decision that I had probably rushed into it. If going from an old version of my phone, i could justify it more. But it's not worth it at the moment. Perhaps next year. Also, I didn't like the Gemini Ai, but it seems that is the way it is going.

What clinched it for me was watching youtube and hearing the upgrade was more like and S24s than a new model. I'm not regretting the cancellation at all.

Yeah i was same soon as reviews came out saying it wasn't particularly interesting that confirmed how I felt on the presentation it was all about AI and little about the phone first time I clicked off a launch halfway through lol

It's a personal choice whether to buy the new flagship phone. 

I choose not to Trade-in. 

Some people are phone people which basically means they'll buy the next new flagship in most cases. 

I personally look at what's under the hood when looking at a phone ,and then compare to what I already have. 

I also like to watch YouTube reviews and have hands on. 

I own the Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra which is a beast of a phone ,that I use now as a back up phone. 

And my daily driver is the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra which for me ticks my wants and needs boxes in regards to hardware and software and aesthetics. 

The phone is of a boxy design and has a flat screen which is the closest I've got to the latter aesthetics of the now debunked Note Series.

This year I'll most probably pass and wait for the next generation. 

All that said the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Series of phone's are impressive. 

I'm more excited for One Ui⁷.

I was thinking the same on upgrading my S23 to the S25. But I personally think it's not worth it. As i still got 3 more years to look forward to in terms of updates. Regarding your S24 ultra, you did the right thing by cancelling, in my opinion. I get that this appeals to some people on upgrading to a newer flagship phone every year. But having longer software support means you can hold on to your phone for a longer. S24 ultra still has 6 more years left on software support.

S24 is a great phone for a moment. I was transported back to my teenage years, and everything had to be the best and up to date. If it had a new light, i had to have it. Thankfully, I'm past that now. Just a relapse 😂😂😂😂
