Camera has Horizontal and Vertical Lines in Low Light pictures

S25U has color banding issue when Night shot is turned on. All night sky pictures have either vertical or horizontal lines. 
S24 doesnt emit these 
Oneplus also doesnt emit these.

If it's apparent in other modes, I would definitely return or have it replaced.

I found out that 200mp sensor seems to be at fault when 1x zoom is applied. 3x , 10x and 100x has no such issues. seems to be hardware fault. i have requested replacement

pay a 1000£ for such experiences. dont know what the engineers were doing since january 2024

I've done a bug report for my Ultra but I'll do one on the Plus as well. When do you get the replacement?

i have been told in 7-10 working days. its not ideal. they still havent received my phone yet. i posted at 9am on monday.

I'm seeing the exact same issue on my S25U. Therefore, I don't think it's an isolated issue.

I took some night mode shots on a cloudy night yesterday and didnt see the issue. But taking some more on a clear cloudless night like tonight, I see the banding.

It's got nothing to do with having a case or not (tried both and get the same results). I also don't have any after market lens protectors.

I'd encourage all S25U owners out there to try night mode in a dark environment and check for these artefacts.

I've submitted a bug report so will see what response I get.
