Auto rotate not working.

On the latest EU update for the 25 Ultra, I've found that auto rotate doesn't work.

No matter how much I turn the phone, it will not change. I've restarted the phone, and adjusted the settings but nothing has helped.

Where is the best place to inform samsung regarding this bug/issue?

@JohnBoyz , if you use Home up and have DIY home, auto-rotate not working on home and lock screen, but works anywhere else. (In app e.g.Samsung internet, in Settings etc)

 Without DIY Home  auto-rotate works on home and lock screen too

Hey man, did you find any solution to this? I've also been having this issue since like a month ago. I'm on a S25+

Yes agreed, Odin does not work with the S25 ultra, I found that out the hard way. A factory reset sorted this issue.

Yes, backup your device and make sure you'll be able to recover everything essential on it (authenticator apps etc) then perform a factory reset. This sorted the issue for me, but since I didn't back everything up properly, got locked out of an email account because of it.

*****, that's exactly what I don't wanna do. Having to go through all the trouble to do a factory reset. I'm also kinda scared cuz I saw another post of a guy that said doing a factory reset didn't help for him lol. In the meantime I'm using an app to force the screen rotation.

It can be reasonably painless if you can ensure you can access all your accounts without the phone, then using Smart Switch on PC or Mac will back up all the other stuff and restore it when done.

It is a hassle, but it doesn't have to be so annoying. As long as you don't do what I do and rush the process without ensuring everything can be accessed without the phone (I relied on authentication apps for a long time, forgetting to ensure everything was able to be recovered).

With that said, if you're happy with using an app to rotate, then maybe you'll be fine without it.

Why does nobody ever say that this problem is page/app specific? I often have this problem, I've done all the things people suggest, auto-rotate works sometimes, then sometimes doesn't.

The problem wasn't app specific, that's why it wasn't stated as such. The issue was fixed with a system reset. Maybe check the comments ahead of commenting to better understand what you are replying to.

I had same issue. Just fixed it. 

Push on empty space

Go to setting

Go to more customizations in goodlock

Push on home 

Turned off diy beta settings

I have the same issue but I don't even have home up or the diy beta on.
