Alarm volume mysteriously drops?

For some reason, I've found my alarms to be almost silent on a morning. When I've checked, the volume is right down despite me setting it the previous night. I though I might be some kind of routine running but I've disable them all and it still does it. Any ideas?

Since you ruled out Routines, you ruled out the first thing I would have written.    

This is strange.  I'd like to hear more about this when you figure out the source of this issue.
