Holy hell, this new update is so unaccessible for me now because they've taken away 3 bar navigation for what?? Google?? smth most of us don't use?????

I legitimately cannot use this new navigation because of how badly they've nuked it and I don't have the ability to role back the update.

another thing I've noticed that is Google assistant literally gets in the fcking way of samsung pay. who designed this new update, are you actually brain dead???? samsung just be hiring anyone these days.

It's Google that has implemented the navigation gestures to accommodate the new AI features.
You will have to complain to Google about those.
From what I hear, you can get through Goodlock with the Navstar some of the older navigation features.
I don't have this but if you search the forum, there are posts talking about this

Hi @Alices____

The Good Lock app on the galaxy store provides more customisation for the navigation bar, via the Nav star module.

There have been a handful of threads on this topic, you're not alone.

My personal work-around - GoodLock / NavStar.

While I miss my gestures at the bottom of my screen, bringing back those three icons (Back, Home, Recents) isn't so bad, especially considering you can choose a set that doesn't ask much space and you can even customize the Navigation bar height.

Long pressing on the Home button will bring up that new circle search.

Just updated to this and it is making me miserable. Why did you change gestures to something less efficient than what you previously had? Now, i have to swipe from across the screen and hold buttons down? A gesture requiring to hold the button down is inefficient at best, breaking of workflow, and makes gestures in general useless to me. Bring back the old gestures. Stop fixing things that arent broken.

I haven't seen any issues with gesture navigation.

Don't know what I am missing here .

For Samsung Pay, you can set the side button double tap to open it.
