When is the Galaxy S24 Ultra getting One UI 6.1.1 in the UK

Seriously, you buy a flagship phone and those updates take forever, also Sam Mobile and other news outlets saying which phones will get it and S24 Ultra only gets mentioned sometimes.

And don't get me started on my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, that has only had one update since November last year.

Definitely moving away from Samsung when my next purchase comes around.

Ha ha. Agreed . I said the same thing about the 7 years update.

But on the brighter side of things. I don't find anything wrong with the phone as is.

And given samsungs history with updates, they always mess up with updates, which I would rather not have.
If you look at my posts, I am very critical of samsung for a lot of things.
At the same time, I appreciate their phones for what they offer compared to the competition.
Trust me.the grass is not necessarily greener on the other side.

I am dissapointed, because it is spoken about for long time, and long time is not delivered. This creates frustration in users, for waiting something which never comes months. This is the frustration of majority of users, driven in such cases. This is why the avatar of a grumpy cat. Once rhings start to come fast, waiting for days instead of months, i will change my avatar to a cat with a happy face.

I feel you. It's just I have been too long with Samsung and they are becoming predictable. Which is not good.

Never used a Pixel but really like the look of the pros but jumped on the S24 Ultra cos of the spec, to be honest I just want the new AI bits, especially the sketch one

Grumpy cat will not go away with one gravely delayed patch. Grumpy cat will go away, when the default practice of slow and inefficient updates goes way forever and when a fast efficient practice of delivery comes by default. We should be waiting few days by default for a patch, by policy, not few months. Then, and only them grumpy cat will go away.

Samsung are useless at updates that's why they have been for years you just have to accept it I'm afraid

I fully agree with you. What makes things worse, os that Samsung the patch ready and done, since long ago, and they hold it back for no real reason and no real explanation.

What Tarun says is only a RUMOR, and i DO NOT associate myself with him by any means or by any stretch of the imagination. I clearly DISTANCE and DETATCH and myself from  Tarun,  and from Tarun's statement. I don't say Tarun is right, i don't say Tarun is wrong.

Do you want to know MY opinion? MY opinion is that Samsung postponed once more time, to september, only to fail in september, and to prove one more time, that they are incapable of delivering any updates in any time frame - reasonable or not and i expect another failure from Samsung, in September.
