When is the Galaxy S24 Ultra getting One UI 6.1.1 in the UK

Seriously, you buy a flagship phone and those updates take forever, also Sam Mobile and other news outlets saying which phones will get it and S24 Ultra only gets mentioned sometimes.

And don't get me started on my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, that has only had one update since November last year.

Definitely moving away from Samsung when my next purchase comes around.

What we are expecting is not the 6.1.1 itself. What we expect is based on 6.1.1, which means all and any fearures of One UI 6.1.1 which fit and can run and be used by S24 Ultra will be transferred to S24 Ultra.

Actually you keep us not on edge, but lagging behing the edge. And to be honest, looks like google's pixel 9 pro and xl did something right with the camera, put you in position of catching up. Well you out yourself in the position of catching up, by deliverstely and intemtionally slowing the parch. You could avoid that and let others catch up to you if you were more responsible and you knew your interest better, released all patches before others, and gain braggin rights and let others play catch up. 🤣🤣🤣

Remember there is no perfect phone that will do everything.

No worries, take your time, slowndown your game, as much as you want. We all know that Google will fix it faster than Samsung, and will release the fix to its users faster than Samsung, so it will be samsung playing catch up again.

Or any year on that matter, looks  like for Samsung is not a concern how fast they will fix their phones, regardless of the proven fact that Samsung's competition is working faster and more responsibly than samsung. Now i inderstand why samsung said 7 years of updates, its how longnthey need to fix the issues in their phones.

Out of curiosity Have you ever used Pixel and Samsung phones together?

FYI. Samsung releases stuff earlier then Google even though they hav e to slap One ui over android.

Nowadays they seem to alternate with each other as they are partners in tech.

I am both interested and own Samsung and Pixels so unless you personally use them better not to comment.

Lots of people here use both and some even iphones.

We are all tech enthusiasts and so know first hand what's on the other side of the pond as well.

We embrace all but find Samsung still does better overall.

One thing i agree with you, is we love tech and tech gizmos and gadgets.

As for Pixel, it is recently released, as every new product it suffers its initial bugs and needs its tome to mature, this by default.

However if Google fixes its camera issues after 3 months, it will be faster than samsung which only talks about patches for 5 momths, but never releases anything. Take is as you will.
