WhatsApp can't reply through notification

I Started having an issue a couple weeks ago where I cannot reply to a message from a WhatsApp message from notifications at top of the screen. I can reply to other message through Instagram etc. Anyone else had this issue? Not sure if it's a WhatsApp issue or Samsung issue 🤔

Go to settings > apps > WhatsApp > notifications > turn on pop up notifications style or all 3 of them, and you should be able to reply from quick settings panel

They are all on. I get the options to reply, mark as read and mute. Issue is when I click reply and type in the message and hit send it doesn't send. I get a circle that spins on right on the message reply like it's trying to send it but nothing happens

Happened to me few times clearing WhatsApp cache in settings helped sometimes ot stuttering for a while but it does send the message

Restart your phone and check for any app updates

@Lnesh: Further to the above, please head to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache. Now, press the Volume Down and Side buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, as this will perform a Soft Reset and resolve any temporary software issues.

Thanks for the suggestions. But still the same unfortunately. Spinning circle of doom still prevails
