What happened to the 3 button navigation options?

So I've had my S24U for some time now and it's great, but the stupid swipe right or left to go back universal gesture is getting real old. Now all we have is either big buttons or this silly swiping thing, it works well 50% of the time but it's not intelligent enough to decide if I'm trying to go back or just select something. 

Please Samsung bring back the 3 tab navigation bar (from the S22U) at the bottom of the screen again, it was so easy having 3 slim bars for home, back and open apps.

I've got my S24U, I have been using an A series which was smashed. I was super excited to get my new phone. Now, not so much. It was so easy to gesture to home, previous app or to view the history. Now it's painful to impossible to use. N9w 8 haven't have 3 buttons on my screen so that I can use this wonderful phone. I'm all for trying new things but don't remove existing features that just work
