I just turned on my s24 ultra and compared it to my s21. I called Samsung - they sounded like this was new information- it isn't. I submitted photos and videos of how dull the new display looks. Ultimately the colours look lifeless and depressing - I don't need the other updates on the camera when the screen itself is lacking. For that reason I'm returning the s24. To me the decisions they have made has altered my user experience in a negative way. Changes in video editing, display, etc... For now, I'm out. I really hope they opt to fix these changes because the next step for me is leaving Samsung 😐

This sucks, just finished my backup from my old s23 ultra and the screen colors on vivid mode on the 24 ultra are so different. That vivid mode was something I liked since the s21, this looks like a downgrade... so pissed.

As an avid loyalist to Samsung for over 20 years, they're encouraging me to seek out another preference. What a shame. This USED to be my favorite product.

Go to display advanced settings and slide the vividness bar to the right.

I did that and compared the device side by side with another Samsung. Have the settings the same on video. It's simply weak in saturation, absolutely dull. So so disappointing.

My suggestion is noticable improvement but nothing like the vividness in older phones. Truly disappointing. I feel like Samsung tricked me as did the popular online reviewers for not mentioning it.
