Vivid screen mode will not be fixed/updated!!!

Spoke with samsung last week and they confirmed that they are aware of the washed out screens on all S24 models and will be sending an update to fix it. After reading some comments, I called them back today and now they are saying that they deliberately made them like that to look more natural and there will be no update for this. This is clearly not right as the vivid/natural mode does not work and should not be there if this function doesn't exist anymore. Someone else I spoke to after at samsung said they should fix that mode if it's something that clearly doesn't work and is already built in the display settings. I've been having some glitches again especially with calls on loudspeaker or Bluetooth. And it just heats up a lot when under stress. Something I'm sure wouldn't happen with the snapdragon variant. I have two more days left until I can return it. I also read elsewhere that the charging cable you get with the plus and ultra isn't for 45watt speed charging, only 25watts. Reminds me of only getting a 15watt charger in the box with my S7+ tablet which is advertised as 45watts. ***** take this. How much more money do they want without providing us with the same global quality? I feel really betrayed by them. Especially with this exynos rubbish as my experience hasn't been great. Much better experience and consistency last year on the S23 regular I had. I don't find any of the S24 models an upgrade over the S23 models apart from the S24 plus screen. Seen numerous videos how the pictures look better on last years S23 models. I'll be handing this S24 + back tomorrow. Not confident about it at all moving forward. I really like the design but also need peace of mind not headaches. May wait for the oppo which apparently will be shipping globally and looks the business. No short cuts like samsung. Everything and more in the box. Miss those simpler days...

Yup as confirmed by a very reliable samsung leak source ice universe on X they're introducing a slider for vividness in the next update. Only thing is no one knows when. Could be a couple months Could be next week nobody knows for sure.

The processor in the ultra is the Snapdragon 8 gen 3, not an exynos

Maybe you should have done some research before you got the 24+, and then you would have realised it wasn't snapdragon cpu. If you did and you still got the 24+, you only have yourself to blame and can't winge about the CPU.

I did research. Only a handful of videos on YouTube which looked promising. Of course I knew it wasn't snapdragon that's why was researching as much as possible. My experience wasn't the outcome I expected. Felt more of a downgrade than the S23 experience last year. Anyway, really happy once again as just bought an S23 ultra, 12g and 512g for Only £500. Feels more like back to normal now. Absolutely love it! Thought I'd also mention the design of the S24 started to bug me. It's just another iPhone. The ultra is the Samsung feeling and experience you want.

I had an S22, and Samsung S23 but recently upgraded to Samsung S24 ultra, and immediately noticed that the colors are not good and tonned down to much. The colors look very depressing, and in Display there is no difference between Vivid and Natural colors and look the same. It is very disappointing to see that the good colors we had with the previous flagship phones are now gone and they are just awful and bad. The user should be able to have option to change from a nice Vivid color to more Natural, and should be able to make this change if desired. Samsung removed this opportunity from the User, and removed the nice colors it once had. Samsung Please listen to your loyal users and update your Display Panel to what it was before with the other flagships phones. Samsung corporate Please restore the nice VIVID colors you once had, and send an update with that. Also restore the Super-Slow mode if you can. Don't take out features that make sense for users. Restore the colors or I will take back the phone and keep my S23. Please restore the colors on Samsung S24 phones. Thank you!

What update did you have? I have updated today and the vivid slider or the advanced setting isn't there.
