View TV on phone Smartview

Since the One UI7 update it appears that ththe option to View the TV on the phone in Smartview has been removed. I used to find this option as useful when moving to the kitchen preparing a meal whilst the rest of the family could continue up to watch the TV in the living room. Is there another option to enable this that I may have missed or do you think I Samsung will bring this feature bac?

Hi buddy, never used it that way round, will check later as not at home at the moment, I always phone to tv, but never thought of tv to phone whilst moving around the house (recently ditched Sky multiroom).

Hi buddy, prior to the oneui7 update, in Smartview,if you scroll down to the bottom there was an option 'Other device to phone' which would take the TV signal ,(sound and vision) to the phone. that option is no longer there

That option is no longer available under ui7

Thanks for the advise and link. I have tried connecting that way but unfortunately I don't get the link to tv option

it works, u need to be on the same wifi for the option to show! connect to the same wifi, then hit the 3 dots and u will see the option.
