Hi.
Video Call Effects function does not work on S24+ UI One 6.1 Android 14 (Settings - Advanced features - Video call effects). There's no toggle switch to turn the function on (see the attached screenshot). Is this a bug?
It seems all is set up properly (see the attached screenshot) but in the none of the selected apps the blurred background or a selected background does not apply. Nothing happen since the function is obviously deactivated by default and I can't turn it on since there's no toggle switch in the menu to do so! In the video calls in all the selected apps (Meet, Messenger, Zoom) a see my original background - I can only blur or change it via the app's settings during the call itself. So, the phone's Advanced Video Call Effect function does not force the selected apps to apply the blurred or selected background as set in the phone's settings menu.
In my the other Galaxy devices (S10e & Tab S9+) the toggle switch is present & the function works properly (eg the phone enforces eg. Meet to blur the background during the video call).
Anybody else with the same issue? 🤔 With no toggle switch for activating / deactivating "Video call effects" feature in the "Advanced features" menu in Galaxy S24+ phone's Settings.
Best regards,
Greg

Sorry to hear that @DinoZ
What exactly is the issue? 🤔 I can't see the pic you've attached (the placeholder is empty) - try to edit the post & re-upload the pic.
The workaround solution via Activity Launcher works perfectly for me. Activity Launcher installs & opens as it should, and there I can set & activate the background effects for Video Call Effects. As you can see in the last screenshot from the Meet video call preview screen the background is now blurred. 👍

Hi @minemine
Thanks for the video. 👍
I got that video call section option in the notification panel during video calls only after starting the Video Call Effect activity via Activity Launcher. No Video Call Effect section was present before that in the Notification panel. It looks like the function was disabled on my phone and there is (still) no toggle switch in the Settings - Advanced features menu to switch it on. It can only be done via Activity Launcher - where you can either start or stop Video Call Effects.
Best,
Greg

I have the same problem. Also, the video call option is not active. This is another problem.

Solution: Whatsapp etc. During a video call, pull down the notification bar and click on effects from there.
