I got a droplet icon and a message about a dirty or damp USB-C port. After connecting it to charge, an alarm appeared and a message to disconnect the charger. The port was clean, restarts, a soft reset, and clearing the USB port memory in settings didn't change anything. I had already scheduled a repair, replacing the likely damaged USB-C port. Strangely enough, after connecting a wireless/inductive charger for a few minutes, a miracle happened. The phone stopped displaying the message about a damaged USB-C port, and after connecting a cable, it charges normally, with no messages or errors.
The next morning, the same thing: a droplet icon, port messages, an alarm when connecting it to charge, with different cables, chargers, etc. – connecting the inductive charger again, and the USB-C port miraculously cleans itself again.
Can anyone explain this? Is this a damaged port or a defect in the new update?
