So this may be a completely silly question but I never know unless I ask. I had recently played it safe with my new phone purchase with the S24+. I didn't think much of the Ultra's camera and pen until I saw it in action from a coworker. The pen has a BUTTON? The camera quality is THAT GOOD?? Obviously I had realized I made a pretty hasty safe choice and was wondering if it was even possible to trade in an S24+ for an Ultra. I can't seem to find any information on it and trade in prices for the new generation of phones seem non-existant. I bought the S24+ unlocked, if that helps with an answer.

Wait till new galaxy 25 ultra and then trade in for maximum, in my opinion, financial benefit

I think you should probably wait for the S25 and see what the upcoming event brings. I'm using the S24 Ultra, and I think I liked my old Note 20 Ultra better. The screen color was just perfect for me.

Trade-in options are normally at different stages of a new launch @Dan V
And the return can not always be that attractive unless selling the phone privately to a colleague, friend or family member.
I moved from the Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra { which I've retained } and purchased the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra which I really get on with due to the return to a more boxy design and flat screen.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I'm in the same situation, but switching S24+ to the Ultra seems like jumping from one sinking boat to another. The reviews for the 50 mp camera seem to show the problem still exists in S24 Ultra too.
Should I play it safe this time and switch to iPhone 15 pro max, instead?
