Unable to connect to some public WIFI?

This isn't just for the S24 but unsure where to post, my current experience is with S24 U...

Seems I cannot connect to some public WiFi networks and unclear why, maybe it's a setting?

As an example, I was recently on a plane with a dedicated WiFi network to stream movies etc... the instructions were simple, but my phone just would not connect...

Tried with my work iPhone... no issues. The person Infront of me was using android so don't believe it's a strict iOS Vs android thing...

Any technical experts out there with some ideas? I looked through all the settings but I can't see anything relevant...

I deleted the saved network to try fresh, restarted etc etc 

I have seen this before with other public WiFi....

Thank you for all your help. I was able to connect to my work wifi again by turning off my dns. I did however turn on some public WiFi safety thing. 🥰

My phone has just started having issues connecting to wifi where you don't need a password. For example my hotel wifi and today in a garden centre. My wife's samsung cheaper model. Mine is 24+ has no issues. Something in the latest phones are causing this.

I had the same problem with my A26. It was fixed the moment I used my own MAC address at the Wi-Fi settings of the location. Then I changed it back to random MAC, and it still worked.

Hope this helps for anyone that is still encountering this problem.
