I now have Bixby, Assistant and Gemini on my S24. And none are of any use on their own.

Bixby does some local things but mostly moans I need Samsung Internet to do things when I dont, because recognition fails.

Assistant has had so many useful functions stripped out but doesnt work with Samsung apps.

Gemini doesn't work with much locally, doesnt do much like Assistant, more often than not makes up stuff because it has no concept of anything as a result.

I'm all for choice, but these things are baked into the OS, forced onto us and we cant remove them.

Assistant is going away later this year as Google is promoting Gemini more in it's place so you'll have two to put up with. 😂

As Keith30 said, Google and Samsung are making Gemini the primary assistant. I think Bixby has been retired this year. Gemini is quite new and it's still learning I assume.

I asked Gemini this morning for directions to work by train. Something Assistant has managed to carry out without fail for a number of years. It replied that "unfortunately it looks like there arent any train directions location. This might due to the area you're in, or the route may not be accessible by train" It even then had the balls to show me a map of the train route

I'm outside the second busiest station in my country travelling to the busiest. If services weren't running there'd be major news articles on this.
