Just spoke to technical team.
And they have confrimed Samsung has intentionally made the display look washed out and less vibrant.
So for everyone waiting for a software update / patch to fix this... There won't be one

100% this!  The colour issue can be fixed with software.  The grainy screen might be hardware

I totally agree with you.

Is the lack of vivid mode a deal breaker for you?

I've already got my s24 ultra so I will see if Samsung does an update to fix this but if they don't. I might switch to a different brand but let's see

This is not confrimed by anyone at Samsung corporate level. This is just call centre workers reading off a script.

Same principle with the above screenshot script saying this is how things are, etc.. they just read what they been told.

If there is a lot of people complaining about it, they will fix it.

But how good can the fix be if the whole panel under the screen has been intentionally manufactured and calibrated to display less vibrant colours?

Thousands and thousands of consumers have complained in several platforms. Yet Samsung officials at corporate level haven't said a word

Hi guys. Just a post to say that I merged a few threads covering the same thing here.

On mine switching between vivid and neutral does nothing, think it's just broken

@Skennett it's believed a software update should remedy the vivid mode to be as vibrant as kt shows on other previous Samsung models.
